Nook & Pantry

Have you seen the latest papers from Basic Grey - Nook & Pantry? They are AWESOME! And in store. You can find them HERE. I made a really simple page, letting the beautiful colors and patterns speak for themselves!

I've also used some beautiful lace from Prima, and I think it's my new faorite. LOL! Happy Monday all!

Cards Creation

Hola! Hi again.

Making a card is fairly easy. However it is up to your imagination to create an eye-catching one. Look around for inspiration is a great tip.

This "Thank Hoo (You)" card is inspired from an owl. Notice the eyes and the beak?

For the eyes:

1. Punched a patterned paper with a round-scalloped puncher. Make that 4 circle tags. You can make your own circles using a template too.

2. Glued two circle scalloped tags on the background paper. Take another two extra circle tags, fold them into a triangle, snip and cut around the edges. Careful not to cut the whole triangle.

3. When you are done, open the triangles back into the circle shape and glued them on top of the the first two circles using a 3D foam dots.

4. You can use a button or blings to add a little flair.

5. Then take a cardstock, cut a small triangle to make the beak part.

6. Tie a ribbon lace for the top part.

7. Arrange your alphabet for sentiment words.

Supplies: Cardstock, Cherry Arte Deco Hall, Buttons, Ribbon lace, American Craft Thicker Alphabets, White pigment pen.

The beauty card is inspired from a vintage look.

1. Make two rectangles from paper with your preference size. Mine is 6" x 1".

2. Attached and sow together the white canvas (shaped into triangle) onto the card place at the corner below. I used a hand-stitched here.

3. Glued your picture on the two sets of rectangle, add a flower and ribbon for extra flair.

4. Write your own sentiment quotes using handwritten or a dymo labeller if you have one.

Supplies: Cardstock, Cherry Arte Deco Hall, Flower, Ribbon Lace, White Peel-off Canvas, Dymo labeller.

All products and embellishments can be found at the store.

Happy creating!

Cherry Arte, Prima Marketing and such

Hola!

It’s time for another creative sharing. Recently I’ve created a layout and a couple of cards using the products from the store. For now, I will be sharing with you a 12x12 layout. It’s fairly a clean and simple looking but I love the result! Simplicity says more, right?

This page is more of a “budget” page. Using cut outs really saves your money and at the same time, if you are using the same brand on a layout, you can make a perfect page – colour harmonies. Notice the peculiar looking alphabet stickers? I used different alphas/numeric to replace one another and vice versa.

There is no limit on how you can construct your layout except with knowing when and how you want to play with your endless imagination ideas.

Will share the card post next time, so keep checking back here! :)

Supplies used: Cardstock, Cherry Arte Deco Hall (
Sweet Estelle and Edgar), Lace ribbon Prima, Flowers Prima, American Crafts Alphabet Thickers (Pink Daquiri), embossing tape and black marker pen (personal own).

Webster Pages

Hello folks!

Long time - no see! We can't have that, now can we? LOL! The shop has been filled with delicious papers lately in different styles and character. One of my favorite paper lines (besides Basic Grey - have you layed your hands on Indian Summer yet???) is Webster's Pages. Always awesome patterns, beautiful colors and great stickers and embellies.

Another great thing with Webster's pages is that they are really versatile. They are vintage looking, but they also have a more graphic back which let you use them with different styles. And there are always A LOT of patterns to cut out and use as embellies!

Here is a double page I did using the Hello Beautiful line. I used the back sides mostly, with some vintage flower patterns to ease it up a little.

The only embellies used are cut outs from the papers and stickers from the stickers sheet.

By the way, have you tried making doubles??? It's FUN!!!

Have a lovely week!
